The heart of Lakeview is found in the central complex. The complex offers a host of health, fitness and entertainment facilities.

On the basement level there is ample undercover parking for residents, either available for purchase or for rent.

On the ground floor level there are two swimming pools, one outdoor recreational pool with braai area and an indoor heated therapy pool which is the venue for regular water aerobics. The indoor pool leads directly onto the fully equipped gym, aimed at keeping Lakeview residents fit and healthy.

The gym has numerous fitness machines, including:

• Treadmill
• Training bicycle
• Multi gym
• Vibrating table
• Sit-up bench
• Bench press bench, with dumbbells, and
• Various other cardio vascular exercising aids
• Rowing machine

A fully equipped hairdresser serves the hair needs of residents and the pub/lounge/games area serves as a popular meeting place for residents, where much of the village’s entertainment activities are held.

If you just want to tuck up with a good book, there is a well stocked library, constantly expanded upon by donations from residents. The library also hosts two internet stations with a wireless internet connection for those who want to keep in electronic touch with loved ones.

For the pool hall contenders there is a pool/billiards table, where lots of hustling takes place by old pub flies who gather regularly to pit their skills. Be careful though, there are some really good players in the village.

If you do not wish to do your own laundry, there is a coin operated laundry offering a full wash and iron service. All of these facilities are for the enjoyment of all residents of the Village and are overseen by our Village manager, Carina Langeveld.

The first floor hosts the care centre and dining/restaurant facilities.
